Avril not sure where he'll play next year

I love Avril, however i think we sjould let him walk and throw are money at LT Jake Long. A O-line of Long-Sims-C-G-Rieff would be sick.

Avril wasnt worth what he wanted last year, and this year he's proving it. I say let him walk if he wont take market value for a slightly above average LE. There are plenty of guys that can be had in the draft of free agency that are competent speed/edge rushers.

Your probably right, however Long and Reggie Bush are FA meaning they can only Franchise one and i think that will be Bush. I say this because Philbin runs a west coast offense and Jake Long is not suited for that type of offense. Miami writers even stated that longs production has slipped because of this. Long has ties to the area because of the obvious (U of M) so with a wish and a prayer maybe just maybe it could happen. Hey if im going to dream, im going to dream big! GO LIONS!!!

Thats what I was thinking. He is still above average. I wouldn't throw the bank at him but I would definitely try and get him.
