Will JJ Redick continue this pace (22 PPG) for the rest of the season?

It seems like a lot of people forgot that he was a big time scorer/shooter in college because he had issues staying in SVG's rotation when he was in Orlando.

Now it seems like the Magic are deferring to him as the #1 option and he isn't shying away from putting up 20+ points if necessary.

You know he's shooting 64% from the field and 75% from 3 ?

meh.. they may be 2-0 now but ill say it isnt impossible because he might be the 1st option on what will be a terrible team... but hes a shooter and nothing else... so my guess is no.. but he could have a good season..

If you think hes a shooter and nothing else, you pronably havent seen him play the past 2-3 years. The guy is a good all around player.

If you had to classify him as one thing.. it would be a shooter... but by all around? you mean? .. cause i have seen enough to know he isnt very strong defensively..

    No.

    Next stupid over-reactionary thread....

(JJ is good, and will continue to have a big role, but he's not gonna average 22 points this year)

Hes a decent defender, hes a bit below average but atleast he tries his hardest and is not useless. Hes also a very smart player that makes good decisions with the ball. He can handle the ball and run the offense for short streches of a game. Its one thing to classify him as a shooter because thats his best skill, but to say hes a shooter and nothing else is incorrect.

Reddick is everything that Turkoglu claims to be, but shorter.

Na but I think 15-17 ppg isn't out of the question if he continues to get 30+ minutes a game. I watched him play last night and he looks like he has really matured as an NBA player. Takes good shots, runs hard in the half court offense always, and makes the right pass. Their top offensive option other than him is Big Baby..... so therefore I think he could easily average over 15 a game.

I can see him averaging around 16 ppg in his current role, but 22...No. You have to be able to create more for yourself to average 20+...
