Tanking is losing games o purpose.... I am not, nor have i ever been, in favor of tanking.

No it's not. That just a form of it. Making moves that don't benefit the squad on the court or holding players out so the can rest or recover are other ways. Losing games on purpose may lead to congressional hearings. No one does that. At least not obviously.

Making moves that dont benefit? Also known as making moves that will benifit for the future.... Thats called rebuilding, not tanking.

Holding a player out cause of injury.... Only 1 team i can think of (in recent memory) off the top of my head has ever done that is the celtics with pierce.... And they didnt get their 1st goal (durant) but they did win a championship.... But that is tanking and not cool.
