It's the same questions we asked earlier. Can Ponder throw the ball over 5 yards.
I can't say I'm very surprised by how they've fallen off...and their slide is just going to continue if Ponder keeps playing like this. The only game they might be favored in the rest of the way is @STL and if the Lions beat them this week, I'm convinced they finish in last place again.
^It should get a lot of hype...there's not a better game on the schedule next week.
Anyway, Daniels is probably their best receiving threat now. I feel pretty confident that Peanut can lock down Johnson. As long as we don't give up any big pass plays, I like our chances against their offense. Foster's gonna be tough to stop, but if we can limit him and make Schaub beat us, I think we win.
Even if the bears loose this game I just want them to show they are for real and make it a real competitive game. Don't want another game like new England in 2010. This team is too good for that.
Biggest thing I'm looking for is Jay getting away from pressure and finding forte on the checkdown more often, or getting him invovled in some other way. Forte is such a weapon in the passing game. Last year the bears were killing teams with forte as a receiver. Jeffrey, forte, and marshall is a lethal combo. And if the offense is struggling cutler has to try and find forte more often on those short passing plays.
