Teddy will probably get the start. Maybe hitting it out into left field here, but I think if Teddy has another great game he's named starter. Zimmer still hasn't come to a decision..makes no sense if he thinks Cassel is the one to go with.

Cassel won't play I'm assuming. Is it week 1 yet?

I think Teddy and Ponder will split halves and Cassel has the job at this point. If Ponder plays well maybe the Rams will take a look at him. I think Fisher could do some possible good things with him and make him serviceable.

I firmly believe Cassel has the job at this point. He has played well enough to hold on to it. Teddy has played well no doubt but I think they are going to be patient with him. Last nights game was a clear cut indicator that they are going with Cassel.

Yeah, if I was a betting man I'd put a lot of money on Cassel being starter. But it's just really strange to me that Zimmer still won't name the starter.

I really think that the competition goes to this week. I think they are waiting to see if Teddy can get a grasp of the offense and what defenses are going to try to do to him (the only thing I think Cassel has a leg up on him with). I think its like 80% Cassel 20% Bridgewater

He is.. Cassel gives the best chance to win right now ... I would like for teddy to sit a year the way Rodgers did .

No way is anyone gonna hand Ponder the keys ever again, the Rams need to trade for Mallet or Cousins asap.

Rodgers sat for a few seasons behind Favre, not just one. Plus he did get some game time experience when Favre went down a couple times. Rodgers was a stand out QB coming out of college, and he had all the time in the world to perfect his craft. Teddy probably won't sit for THAT long, but I really think Teddy is a bright kid who could easily start day 1 like Peyton Manning did and just learn as he goes. But I'm totally fine with Cassel right now. Either way, win-win.

Wooten with the strip sack. This front 4 is looking nice.

CBs giving up some yardage though.
