I maintain that a pitcher who ALWAYS wins, which is what I said, is more valuable to a team than a pitcher that sometimes loses regardless of ERA.
If you could have a pitcher that you knew was going to win his next 300 starts with a 4.5 ERA you would grab him with both hands and never let him go. You can learn from stats and you can try to predict the future with stats, but saying that wins don't matter AT ALL? That isn't true.
does anybody here think biedrins should play more? or do you think they should give tyler some minutes while bogut is getting to 100%
mark jackson has other substitution problems that are for more concerning... but I think beidrins could help (atleast take credit for fouls) in games when bogut isnt available. its hard to make this argument considering they won the clippers game..... but beidrins 6 fouls could have come in handy
Pre-season told us the end of Jackson's bench was Bazemore, Tyler, Biedrins, and Jefferson. Jefferson is now going to get a boost in minutes, but only 2 of the remaining 3 are going to be inactive on game days so Jackson may mix it up depending on the opponent. Playing smaller teams maybe activate Baze, bigger teams Tyler/Biedrins, games when Bogut is unavailable both Tyler and Biedrins maybe.
Tyler's game isn't growing very fast, so I don't know if I care if the player is Tyler or Biedrins, but I definitely want to see Bazemore get some minutes even if it's just garbage time.
