Which of his would you most recommend?
Haven't listened to Dark Time Sunshine? Definitely check out ANX and Vessel.

    Dope stuff.

As for his solo, I guess I'd say The Grey Area, albeit I highly prefer his work as part of Dark Time Sunshine.

1.) Always and forever Mos Def!
2.) Dizzy Wright, love his music & always blows my mind he's only a few months older than me o.O (he's 21 but been going at it since his early teens)
2b.) Kendrick Lamar (ranked lower than Dizzy based on my personal taste, not that I think Dizzy is more talented or whatever)
    3.) Immortal Technique
    4.) Hopsin
5.) Irv Da Phenom, outta K.C and he's an awesome dude with lots of skill - http://youtu.be/MneIsD4v81o

I forgot to add Black Thought to my list.

One of the most consistent rappers ever, 15+ years and this man still hasn't fallen off.

Yeah, this DTS is pretty good (def like it better than the solo album of his I downloaded so far). Surprised I didn't know about it; bunch of featured artists who I keep up on.
