Are the Nets even good?

As a lifelong Knicks fan growing up in Brooklyn I was definitely intrigued in seeing the Nets start up this new franchise.

What are your opinions on this team. I just don't think they will be that good regardless of all the offseason hype that came along with it. The starting 5 features 3 very injury prone players, is above average talent wise, but where is the depth in this roster. Outside of possibly Blatche, Brooks, and maybe Watson the bench is sounding pretty weak.

Now that we have an obvious rivalry with the NY verse NY teams, it will be a exciting addition to the NBA to see a new franchise. What are your opinions on this roster?

solid, but overpaid roster, that will limit them for awhile.

Yes, but they take the hype to seriously. Right now, its only close because of C.J. Watson. They need to take it a game at a time.

Yes. Offensively they are one of the most complete teams in the league.

They will score points but they will get killed by teams who can score down low. Putrid defense

There starting unite is very very good.. They need a better bench to be a legit contender.

Severely overrated. They were Horrid last year and people have them winning damn near 50 games this year. Just an insane jump

Yeah that's what I'm saying. I have been reading all these 50 win top 4 seed stories and I'm just wondering how. It's the SAME team plus Joe Johnson who is pretty overrated as is. I just don't get it.

Nobody knows, its game 1 for them.

Its a healthy squad with a lot of talent, they are nothing like last years team.

I think they got a damn good roster. I don't know why so many ppl doubt them, Joe Johnson is going to feel at home w deron Williams setting him up. Wallace as a role-player is great, brook is more than capable.

Bench is questionable, not awful though.
