More insight from your future head coach: Monroe is struggling because he is hesitating on the jump shot. It is clear that he REALLY wants to drive the ball. He uses that pumpfake several times to get his defender to bite, and then goes to the rim. It's one of his "signature" moves he probably picked up from Prince. For it to continue to work, Monroe is going to have to find his FT range shot again. Once that happens, whenever it is, Monroe will have to come out and immediately take those shots with no fake whatsoever. THen slowly mix in fakes but still shooting, and eventually faking to get the rim again with a few quick shots sprinkled in. Hopefully it works out.
Wow...WAAAAY too early. Just last season we were praising Frank for getting the most wins out of the garbage we had on our team and now just 2 games in yall want him fired? Seriously...?
Drummond will start eventually, English will get his minutes eventually, the young guys will get their time...eventually. I applaud Frank, let these young ones realize that the starting job doesn't come easy and you better bust your *** to get it.
It's a process fellas. Sit down, pull up the pampers and be patient.
Apparently it was part of Frank's plan to use Drummond-Monroe against the Luis-Marcin line, but Jerebko and Maxiell played so well that he decided to go in that direction. I don't see max as playing "so well" considering he scored all of his points in the first quarter and was a nonfactor the rest of the game, but JJ did do very well.
