To be fair, I didn't list Sanchez because I was never too high on him and you're right, the Twins do bargain shop, but it doesn't work. This team isn't going to compete if it doesn't aim higher than signing these kind of pitchers. The payroll is there, not using it only benefits the Pohlads not the team.

Regardless, I've put this stuff on the backburner and I'm not going to let myself get worked up over it. I just read a touching article about a sheep/cat freindship that has put this silly baseball stuff in perspective.

When you stop trying to make moves to get your team to the WS you will be much less stressed. If you haven't realized - the goal of the pohlads is to provide reasonably priced mediocre to slightly above average entertainment. They make sure to run a profit. Start thinking in terms of mediocrity and your blood pressure will go down.
