LOL but wasnt the team like 2-6 or something? LOL impressive stats on a team thats tanking in summer league?.

Gotta say though- the warriors are putting the entire d league on notice this summer with some of these pick ups. LOL who needs kevin love- let him go form a power house in cleveland- the cavs d league team is gonna get manhandled by the santa cruz warriors- and thats what counts. LOL maybe kirk lacob is a more aggressive gm than bob myers.

Stylez, you are delusional sometimes. Nobody tanks summer league. Just like how the Niners were 0-2 to start the preseason and they were both blowouts. It doesn't mean they were tanking. Seriously, get a grip.

And it doesn't indicate that Steve Kerr doesn't want to win games.

This- LOL tanking was sort of a joke (but you never know for sure with the warriors management). the main point of the post was- LOL im not sure what summer league stats really mean. Randolph had some 40 point games in summer league- but he couldnt even be a decent starter in the nba.

scoots, I do however find it questionable that the one year the warriors suck in summer league- they go out and sign half the god damn rotation of that summer league team to have a chance at joining the big team.

Did it ever occur to you that they did it to stash them in Santa Cruz?

Oh, Im sure thats what they did. LOL- its annoying how they work so hard to improve the santa cruz squad but dont bring in any big names for the big team.

Every team brings in several players from summer league every year. They want to be able to run scrimmages for training camp and in a group of 15 players there are always going to be a few nursing injuries so they bring in extras and hope one of them will impress enough to beat out the bottom of the roster.

    esp with the dubs-

ill bet livingston, ezeli, bogut, and steph will be out sore during training camp and the team will use that as an excuse to struggle... like they used boguts rib injury as an excuse to lose in the first round
