The Falcons had missed field goals, dumb penalties, and the pass protection was pretty weak all game.

Don't know how many of you were watching ESPN just now, but I agree with pretty much everything Trent Dilfer just said. The most important thing about this season so far is Ryan has developed that "over my dead body" approach to the game that he didn't have in past years. Or rather, the team actually believes he can get it done in any situation. All the best QBs have that -- Brady, Peyton, Rodgers, etc. Still a lot of games to be played, though.

However, only two of the previous 30 teams did it like the Falcons have - by winning at least five of their first eight games by a one-possession margin (meaning by a margin of seven points in the NFL prior to its adoption of the two-point-conversion rule in 1994, or by a margin of eight points in NFL seasons since 1994 or in the AFL of the 1960s). Only San Francisco in 1990 and Indianapolis in 2006 started 8-0 in that manner.

Vance Walker played 75% of the defensive snaps yesterday (the most all season for him) and Corey Peters played 63%. The result was Dallas rushing for only 65 yards in the game, one week after the Falcons held Philly to 92 rushing yards in Peters' first game back.

Offense looked like **** in the 1st half, that big run from Turner really turned our offense around.

I can tell you.. Clabo is done. Or needs to be kicked inside. He is slow around the edge. I never would have thought but Baker is probably our best offensive tackle.
