Well, at least we will get a supplemental round draft pick if he signs elsewhere.

The Nats are going to be awfully disappointed with the 35 year old versions of Jayson Werth and Michael Bourn

Most of us love Span & Willingham, but the best young pitcher we'd probably give up would be Randall Delgado, him and a few other things in a package of course.

I could see us trading them Tommy and possibly Gilmartin for the duo.

i would do that easy. we have better pitchers than tommy, we don't really need him with the emergence of delgado and the re-upping of maholm. we'd have our outfield set, and slightly less deep, but at least nobody will waste away from being under-used. i think tommy for an OF is the way to go if we address our OF needs via trade.
