Jacobs hasn't been solid for a couple of years.
571 yards on 152 carries with 7 TD's in 2011.
823 yards on 147 carries with 9 TD's in 2010.
Bradshaw was the main guy, and a lot of those Jacobs carriers were short yardage situations so his average is going to be lower. Like I said, those numbers aren't anything great. But on a playoff team that needs RB depth, or a playoff team that needs a RB period like Green Bay, Jacobs could be of some use. That's all I'm saying. No one's saying he would be a full time workload starter or anything, but he could be a nice option for a limited number of teams down the road.
He could be decent...if he keeps his ****ing mouth shut.
I wouldn't release him not because I think he can help a team or expose our tendencies, but rather because I don't want to give him what he wants.
Yep. Don't reward him. Let him rot.
I read somewhere that they already put out that they are holding him so he doesn't go to a rival contender.

Suspended the last few games. Good! I for one didn't want him week 1.
Rachel Zane: You're a sneaky little boy.
Too bad there is a trade deadline. Id love to ship him off to Cleveland or the Jets
Maiocco says that Jacobs appeal will likely be heard after the season which means he isn't going back to the Giants this year.
