Jacobs hasn't been solid for a couple of years.

823 yards on 147 carries with 9 TD's in 2010.

Bradshaw was the main guy, and a lot of those Jacobs carriers were short yardage situations so his average is going to be lower. Like I said, those numbers aren't anything great. But on a playoff team that needs RB depth, or a playoff team that needs a RB period like Green Bay, Jacobs could be of some use. That's all I'm saying. No one's saying he would be a full time workload starter or anything, but he could be a nice option for a limited number of teams down the road.

It's really just an appeal over the money that he loses during the suspension. Maiocco predicts that they'll work on a settlement over the money and Jacob's will not even file the appeal.
