Christmas / Joseph / Downs / Johnson / Melo would be a beast D-League lineup! (yes I'm joking and yes I know we won't get JJJ)

If anyone hears good stuff about Melo or Mack later on please share. I follow the D-league as closely as the WNBA
Was def an expected move, but hated the pick felt we should have gone with Perry Jones
I said it prior to the season started and I will say it again. DA has set this team up perfectly for a acquisition at either the mid-season trade deadline or after the season...
Without getting anyones panties up in a bunch these are some guys I see as to who might be being shopped at the deadline.
Dirk Nowitzki
Emeka Okafor
Tayshaun Prince
Al Harrington
Andrea Bargnani
2015/2017 Superbowl Champs
Personally i want Rudy Gay, but i know its not a perfect fit with Pierce. Trade Jeff Green and draft picks (probably good ones) for him.
Josh Smith could be nice too and everyone has been talking about trading for him for a long time.
Realistically neither of these will happen, but they're probably bot going to be on the block.

Rudy Gay's teams are better when he's off the court. Don't want him.
Rudy Gay is a chucker.
50/50 on Gay. I'm not sure on what I'd be willing to give up for him either.
I've wanted Josh Smith FOREVER, and I was pissed when we gave Bass a 3 year deal over the summer.
Let's be honest, he's got that sweet jumper.....and that's it. He can't play D well and he doesn't rebound.
Over the summer we should've signed and traded Bass, one of our first round picks and our 2013 first round pick for Smith.
The one mistake Danny made over the summer.
big al back here would be great
Bass is one of the best defenders in the NBA. Truth.

Alright, but those stats show how good he is in point prevention, pick & roll and rotational defending. He still can't rebound or block shots. He still doesn't have an offensive post game.

^honestly, who would you say is better?
Josh Smith is better across the board
