I honestly believe Notre Dame is the worst #1 team I've ever seen.

They have not impressed me whatsoever.

I think Alabama is going to obliterate them in the championship.

they arent even the worst number 1 ranked team this season......................

I'm not really that bitter about it. LSU didn't deserve it this year since they couldn't figure out the passing game until the 8th game of the year. I've hated Notre Dame for as long as I've watched college football. the 2006 Sugar Bowl was a slice of heaven for me.

If that happens and Florida manages to pull it together against FSU, it's an all-SEC title game again. And I will laugh my ***** off at all of the other conferences.

ND has not lost, and they have beaten "elite" teams in 3 different Power Conferences (Michigan, Oklahoma, Stanford)...

Florida has looked impressive and unimpressive by turns. Alabama was just exposed by the spread offense, LSU is so anemic who knows. Georgia absolutely wet the bed against South Carolina.

I guess my biggest question is, outside of Alabama beating Michigan, what Marquee Non-conference wins does the SEC have?

Who have they beat? The ACC is a joke. If Florida State doesn't drop a game to an awful N.C. State team, they're the deserving #1 right now, even though their schedule is basically a cupcake train

There's a bias because the SEC is superior. There is no better conference top to bottom, especially at the top. The SEC has proven that for 6 straight years and it will do so again this season.
