Hopefully this is a cautionary tale for Sabean...No more sentimental deals just because a guy played a big role in a WS team. good thing agent Ned outbid us by one mil on Uribe.

You have to be wary on committing long term to guys with not so consistent track records, like Pagan.

It's been said a million times, thanks for 2010 Huff, but I can't say I'm sad to see you go. Hopefully he retires and rides off with 2 WS rings.

While I understand what you're saying, Pagan hasn't been inconsistent. His numbers from this year have been pretty much his career averages. He had somewhat of a down year in 2011, but he's nowhere near as inconsistent as Huff was.

Pagan, while he'll get overpaid, is a good lead off hitter whose offensive game works really well in this park, with the way this lineup is constructed. Defensively speaking, he really should move to LF.

I agree but his agent sure won't be marketing him as such unfortunately. Pagan's offensive value would take quite a hit as a corner outfielder.

True, but he can marketed very well to Sabean. The guys game is a strength in this park, even as a corner OF.

Hopefully, he signs with the Dodgers and play regularly for them.

Yep, gonna cut Hanley guys! Then midway through the season once the Cruz magic wears off, we'll have a left side of the Infield of: Huff SS, Uribe 3B

Huff essentially received a very handsome bonus for his contributions in 2010.

Time has a way of dragging on. It's time to put the glove away, Mr. Huff. Enjoy your retirement.

that's 3 rings more than your whole team combined.
