I would get Sanchez and Haren...
Kershaw
Billingsley (once healthy)
Haren
Sanchez
Beckett
Try to trade Harang, Capuano, and/or Lilly

I hated the extension he got (4/41) so much that I sort of hated him because of it.
Reality is that he is a dependable starter who pitches well, keeps the ball in the park and doesn't walk guys too often.
He is a veteran middle rotation starter. He is dependable, and his career has significantly changed for the better after his rare forearm surgery (if you don't know about that surgery and injury, you should look it up, and see his numbers since then).
I think he is going to command something like 4/60-3/45 on the open market. If you wanted him, I'd bet that's what it would take.
The 3 year deal probably wouldn't be very bad to you guys, and he would anchor the back of your rotation with a healthy, dependable starter that would pitch 200 innings each season and be above league average. He would be a nice asset, but I hated his contract so much that I sort of hated him the entire time.
The other issue for you guys though, is that if you sign him, he will cost you a draft pick. Is he worth that to you?
Don't sign him if you don't want to spend that draft pick, and if you are expecting him to be a 2 starter in your rotation.
do sign him if you don't care about that pick and are going to sign qualifying free agents any way, and expect him to be a 4 starter in your rotation.
Hmmm that sounds unattractive, I didn't want him for that many years anyways, I'd stay away from him now
I still like Kuroda, the last 3 years have been well above average. And a 1yr deal is all he's probably looking for.
He's 38 ands won't be blocking our beat prospects 3-4 years down the line.
Dodger Bobble Family 2.0
Those 3 options are at the top of the list
greinke/sanchez/lohse/kuroda in that order
i like kuroda but like i said before i want someone for multiple years.
greinke best case scenarioray:
2 of the 4 would be great
get rid of lilly/harang/cap
kershaw
greinke
sanchez/lohse/kuroda
bills
beckett

I want to keep Harang
And signing somebody to a 1 year deal, example being Kuroda would be fine, I think Lee/Magill etc could be ready by 2014 to take his spot
While I would love to have him, I think Kuroda is going to be a Yankee again. We have a great chance at getting Haren. He is our best **** at a legit #2. On some staffs he is the ACE and he is a #2 on almost all pitching staffs.
The Angels are going to make a very hard run at Grienke they are already clearing payroll to make it happen. He is going to get a monster contract and it may be more than just money to him so its risky to count on signing him.
If we can get Haren any one of Loshe, Shield, etc. would be awesome.
You said it 1st and I totally agree - Trade Cap while his stock is high. I would like to trade Harang as well if it means we can get HAren and another SP. We can Keep Harang as a #5/insurance if we have too.
I think we're only gonna get 1 starter, not multiple
Another plus about Haren is he is a great hitter![]()
harang can suck my butthole
LAKERS/RAMS/DODGERS/UCLA/MAN U/MEXICOShut it down. Let's go home.
Why? Harang is a real good #5 starter
