I'd prefer him over Torres as our RH platoon.

Indians are definitely a darkhorse for the wild card.

Perez makes too much money now and besides, Stubbs is a good 4th OFer for them.

    Around the NL: Offseason

Would you guys rather have pagan for 4/40 or Bourn for 4/48? (possible option for 5th)

Is he really a 4th OF? I figured with the DH, he, Swisher, Bourn and Brantley could all play at the same time. Or are they using Reynolds at DH?

Bourn, but I'd rather have Pagan at 40 than Bourn at 80 which is waht Sabean would have had to do in December.

You know, the more I think about it, I'd rather have Pagan at less money. Outside of defense, I just don't see a part of Bourn's game that makes him better than Pagan.

It looks like Stubbs will get most of the playing time in RF with Swisher playing 1B, DH and some RF or at least that's the plan for now. I see it changing quickly though.

Hopefully Pagan wasn't just roiding in his contract year.

He can't be an Uribe degree of bust at least.

I can't see him regressing much, as he was pretty close to career numbers. His SLG may go down a bit, but I think his 2011 was an aberration. If he's hitting lead off, he's comfortable, if he's comfortable, he's consistent.
