Chavez Jr. tests positive for Marijuana

Sources close to the information have informed us that previously undefeated former middleweight champion Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. has tested positive for marijuana in the wake of his unanimous decision loss to middleweight king Sergio Martinez. According to one source, Chavez Jr.'s post-fight urine sample had "levels of THC consistent with the use of the drug".

Keith Kizer, the executive director of the Nevada State Athletic Commission, was not yet able to say whether this report is true, as he would not speak to the matter until all of the results from the Sept. 15 cards in Las Vegas are back.

“I cannot confirm or deny anyone until I get all the results,” Kizer told BoxingScene.com via email. “Hopefully I will have all of them by Friday afternoon.”

Ive been saying he doesn't take the sport serious enough for a long time, now people are seeing it.

Well, that's bs, its pretty known that when Chavez sr. went completely broke thats when chavez jr was asked to start boxing. If Chavez jr wanted to box so bad he would of had some kind of amateur career.
