I think you meant Alex Okafor to the Ravens in Round 1, seeing that Jackson Jeffcoat just tore his pectoral and will be out for the year.

If that is the case, I cannot argue one bit with this draft.

I admit I'm starting to have a stupid man-crush on Chase Thomas, OLB from Stanford. I watch him and I see a lot of Jarrett Johnson but with a lot better pass rushing ability and that just makes me want him in Baltimore so badly at the end of Round 2.

But Okafor / Jefferson would be a phenomenal first two rounds for Baltimore.

I like the Rhodes pick for SF, not very high on Gholston tho, he's hasn't put together much of a season thus far. I'd almost say Chase Thomas would be a better choice as he's still available in your draft and we need OLB depth/rotation.

i didnt mean Okafer. i meant Jeffcoat and i know he has a torn pec but thats an easy rehab and should still be a 1st round pick. he has more potential than Okafer and the other OLB/DE players on the board at the pick. i could have went Jordan which would have been a good fit as well.

yes but if theres any Coach who could get Gholston to play up to his abilities its the 49ers and justin smith getting him to play hard and showing him how to do it. he clearly has more upside than chase and would give a replacement for Justin smith who is getting old.

I've just always been hesitant about players who have "potential upside" as its a major crapshoot as to whether they do or don't tap into it, even with good coaching. It'd be one thing if he was an athletic specimen who was having a good year just getting by on his physical gifts and can be molded/polished later, but he only has 1 sack on the year and few QB hits/pressures.

I'm still not sure which guy I'd prefer if we got the #1 pick. If we do get it then it will likely be because Weeden failed to progress throughout the year. In that case I think you have to consider Geno Smith with a new regime likely stepping in. Weeden has improved each week though so I'm not sure we'll be in competition for the top pick.

Outside of that I'd love to get a top notch defensive player like Montgomery. I'm not sure which pass rusher I like best and I'm a big fan of Jarvis Jones as well. Good job identifying our need for a top notch pass rusher though.

i think you cant really pass on adding a pass rusher over an Overated qb. if u guys play a 3-4 all 3 Top end/OLBs fit. if u play the 4-3 Mingo and Montgomery only fit the DE Position though i think jones could be a good nickle rusher but jones isnt that good in coverage.

i think the New Regime will give McCoy and Weeden a chance to establish themselves as a franchise qb otherwise yall get a qb next year.

the raiders will not pick a qb unless they have the first pick and Geno Smith keeps his year up. QB is the least of the worries as the Defense sucks. they will probably pick a qb tho in the 3rd or 5th to develop.

Barkley is Much better than Carson Palmer and is a Perfect West Coast QB. Palmer will be gone in 2 years or hes going to have to restructure his deal massively. the raiders are in cap hell right now and need to plan for getting a QB who will be good in the offensive system and cost less than palmer. ur defense may suck but when ur rebuilding which is Pretty clear to me you cant fill every hole in an offseason. the most common way to rebuild a team is to start by taking ur franchise qb.

WR and OLB sound good. Unless a good RT is available in round 2, then I would go RT.
