It's too bad the Mets won't pay attention to the bullpen much this offseason (or any position of need for that matter)

We had the worst bullpen ERA in the majors last year for much of the season (finished 2nd to last .01 ERA behind the Brewers)

If they even had a middle of the road bullpen they could be significantly better next year.

I say Pelfrey as well for the pen. I rather give him a shot there too over Acosta.

He will cost more, and I don't think Boras will like that.

Depends on what are his offers. I doubt Pelfrey will get too much money, but he will likely get a starting gig though.

If we had the money, Darren Oliver. Man ages like fine wine.

Pedro as in Pedro Feliciano? That would be ironic having him back and healthy for us after robbing 2 years of money from the Yankees and doing nothing.

Although Jason Grilli only has one vote right now, had I voted while his name was included, he would have been picked. Really had some good years in Pittsburgh.

    I agree with Sick

Yes Pedro Feliciano. Cheap loogy and I like Grilli as well but we have no money to sign anyone unfortunately.

Agreed. I can see Pelfrey getting a starting job for sure.

The Kansas City Royals and Minnesota Twins, not to mention the Padres, Astros, Cubs and a hand full of other teams will be looking at Pelfrey.
The injury hurts his value but he showed signs last year that will get him a starting rotation spot or at least a rotation competition spot.

I think Rafael Soriano and Mike Adams would be two GREAT additions, but no way we could get both (or even one...)

I would like Soria, do not know if he would sign here. I can see him getting a 1 year deal 8 million to reestablish his market.

Which means he is $7MM too expensive for the Mets.
