If he'll accept a $1MM deal go for it.
No one is interested in R. Soriano? He'd be a great addition, if we could get him.
Everyone is interested in Rafael Soriano just not at 4 years 60 million.
He's too expensive for the Mets.

I was being 100% serious tho. We aren't signing anyone of worth.
Metsblog is pointing to Joel Peraulta from the Rays as a possible signing. 37 year old right handed pitcher with fly ball tendencies. Vetern reliever to go with all the young hard throwers. Its not beyond reason, just not the top shelf we all crave!
" You seek Yoda!
Choate is one of the more effective lefty specialists in the game. I also like Adams to complement him.
Darren Oliver is like 84 years old.
Oliver is still especially effective against lefties even at 42 years old.
If the Mets could get him cheap Darren Oliver could help us.
I know they want Carson to continue to develop but Oliver is a quality LH reliever.
Oliver and Edgin could make a very good 1-2 combo in getting out lefties next year which was a problem for the Mets in 2012.
It won't happen because he will probably be another guy too rich for the Mets blood but i think it would be a good move regardless of his age.
