I'm assuming this will be incognitos replacement, but some people seem to really believe he's a LT, so I dunno.

He is a RG, RT or maybe LT. I'd say RG maybe RT. Has short arms so hurts his chance at LT.

Very solid pick. Does anyone know if he can pull well at the G spot?

Most feel he is best at G, played there last season. LT in the two seasons before.

    Some views on him.
"He's going to be one of the guys that's going to be competing for the spot," Ireland said of Dallas Thomas. "I love the versatility."
"When you see a big guy who can pull and move his feet, play guard and tackle on the left side that's pretty unique," Ireland said of Thomas
Philbin said Dallas Thomas will start out "on the left side" but doesn't specify guard or tackle. The hole, obviously, is at left tackle
Joe Philbin said he envisions Dallas Thomas as on the left side, but doesn't know where he'll play. "He moves fluidly."
Maybe we move Incognito to the RG spot? I'm really liking this pick though.

According to PFW, Dallas Thomas needs to improve his "strength levels" and doesn't generate movement. He's not a nasty finisher.
Sounds like someone we drafted last season.....

    Exactly what I thought....

only difference is that is if we plan to have him at OG then he'll have enough time to develop and get stronger.

I still think incog is gone.

Why do you hate him? He is a great guy off the field and in the locker room. With a a young team we need those guys.

Never said I hated him, I actually like him a lot, but I'm not going to neglect the fact we are clearly going in a different direction with the oline and his skill set doesn't fit it, along with the 4 mill he's making.

In the beginning of the season I said it would happen to bess and Jake, incog is next IMO.

I agree that he doesn't fit but I don't see Incognito getting moved until next year. He's the vet on the O-line right now and with Martin most likely being the LT, he'll need all the help he can get. Incognito will stay here one more year to give Martin a solid vet to play next to and then let Thomas sit and develop so he can toughen up.
