Brandon League, ACES client, gets $7.5 mil a year from Dodgers as well as a vesting option.
so basically we traded the contracts of Rivera, Coffey, and Treanor for League...I'll take that.
Am I the only one that doesn't like this deal?

Brandon League's contract includes a vesting option for 2016 at $7.5M. The option vests if League finishes 55 games in 2015.

It's not our money; who cares how much they paid him. BTW we are not getting Greinke, so quit bringing it up. It's not going to happen.
Exactly. As a Giants fan, I wish Jansen would remain the closer. You want your best reliever to pitch in tie games in the 7th or 8th instead of 2 or 3 run leads in the 9th. Yes, a worse reliever will blow more 9th inning saves, but pitching your best reliever earlier an inning or 2 earlier will give you more save opportunities. It's just not smart to designate your best pitcher to a role where anybody could do the job.
