You guys see any potential trades out there for the Pats?

I wouldn't mind the Pats making a play for Dwayne Bowe, especially since Welker will more than likely not be with us for next season.

I think Bowe would be a legitimate deep threat with Brady at Q and would excel in this system.

Bowe would not be a wise pickup in my opinion. Apparently he struggles with picking up systems quickly, and he is a FA after the season. Great talent, but I don't think the picks needed to get a deal done would be worth it.

maybe get a cb whos about to hit FA. theres quite a few good ones or atleast above average out there. Grimes, rodgerscromartie, jammer, talib are all set to hit FA this year.

i like bowe though he could really help.

Grimes is on IR and Talib is suspended Wouldn't mind DRC though. And no thanks to Bowe. He's a turd, and is a slow possession receiver, we have enough of those. We need a speed guy.

The only move I could see (if any, which is unlikely) would be bolstering the secondary with a veteran.

FWIW, ESPN insider lists us trading for DRC from the eagles as a potential deadline deal idea. Seems a bit far fetched imo (most likely because I don't see price/ willingness to pay matching up) but he's a guy that would be an instant upgrade over Arrington and serve as a good #2 behind McCourty. Also, not sure if he is generally a zone or man cover guy and that would probably have a large impact as well

If DRC could be had for a 4th-5th round pick (conditional) I'd be down. If I'm remembering correctly, we showed some interest in him back when he was coming out and we had that top 10 pick.

^ DRC would be sweet. But don't pay to much for him....It would allow McCourty to play a little more safety, which IMO has really helped the secondary as a whole over the last couple games.
