    I can't see the Yankees doing that at all. Brown hasn't shown much promise in the major and Mayberry is a platoon hitter. Not much of a return for an above average hitter.

    I would think the Red Sox are good on pitching for the most part. I mean Floyd would be another back-end starter. They have plenty of those.

    Maybe it makes sense for both team, but I don't see why the Red Sox should do that.

    Since he came to the Sox he average ~3,5 fWAR. And he is on a reasonable deal. I'd take him as our #4 starter.
    Saltalamachhia hasn't shown much at this level. Oh yeah, and he can't catch.

    If Boston makes a move for a SP it's probably going to be for a #2, unless they find a steal for an ace.
