    Interested to see what a potential shields to dodgers price tag would be. I'm sure they can live with trading pederson but what else should be included? Don't think they would offer Zach lee. Shields in the nl west parks. He would become a beast.

    Im a Twins fan and obviously we need pitching badly... Would Denard Span for Wade Davis make sense? Span has a team friendly contract and would help replace Upton assuming they were to lose him... Davis would have to make the transition back to the rotation but he has been successful there before...

    You need a balance. Saying a 6 WAR player wont help is completely wrong. 6 wins helps anyone.

    We trade Vargas, who isnt good anyways, and one of our specs. Then sign Jackson, Haren or Sanchez to replace him.

    Thats still a Felix, Sanchez/Haren/Jackson, Hultzen, Walker, Ramirez rotation in 2014-15. But now we also get an All Star caliber player to help our atrocious offense.
