I see the O's signing Dan Haren and trading Arrieta/Reimold for a 2B
The Mets just need a young catcher right now in the worst way and Maldonado showed encouraging signs.

Elvis Andrus, Mike Olt, Rougned Odor, Engel Beltre
David Price, low spec
Alfonso Soriano will be traded this winter. This is the highest his value will ever be and the Cubs will look to maximize
I like the idea of Haren and Cron from the Angels for alex wilson, sean coyle and mike olmsted. Red sox get a pitcher and a first baseman of the future while the Angels get two very good bullpen prospects alex wilson would probably be majors for the angels and a high upside guy in sean coyle
You have no idea how excited I am right now.
Interested to see what the Jays could get for J P Arencibia. Aren't too many catchers who can hit 20+ homeruns/year consistantly and are as young as he is. He's got a very good glove and handles pitchers well. Batting average is the biggest detractor as it's been around .230 in his first 2 years in the bigs, but with experience it might rise.
The Jays have a keeper in Travis D'Arneaud and should at the very least look at what the market may bare.
Certainly, the Yankees and Red Sox (aka Blue Jays) are in the market fotr such a player. But who else has a need. Jays should be looking for a solid pitcher, or second baseman with decent power or a left fielder.
Does anyone think the Yankees would part with an Ivan Nova type pitcher? Maybe too much to ask? Maybe too little? any ideas?
Just to chime in with some Pirates stuff. I'm almost positive Hanrahan will be traded and I see the Tigers and Angels as the two most likely destinations.
So the deal would be
Pirates Give: Hanrahan
Tigers Give: Porcello
Angels Give: Conger or Morales
Other pieces would probably be included but those would be the main names.

White Sox could look to move Alex Rios coming of a very strong year. Wouldn't get that much except salary relief and a decent prospect.
