Even if u liked iggy, he didnt do enough (anything really) to merit some type of ceremony dedicated to his time here.
Is he even a top 30 sixer? Lol.... That should be a thread. I think i could get to 20 without using google. Lol

He is. Even I'll give him that. I'd say somewhere around 12th in last quarter century.
Pay attention. You might learn something.
We are gonna have to play really well to win this one.
And why is Iggy getting a tribute? I doubt he even wants one.
They're taking the high road.
And really I think that its more of a message they want to send about the organization than it is a message to iggy. They're saying we show appreciation even to dickheads, come play here. Lol

I will likely miss Game 1
With Halloween (a passion of mine - my porch is ALL set up for the little candy grabbers) and other things, I won't be in front of a TV until about 10:00 pm
REPRESENT SIXERS BRETHREN!!!

Should be a good game I think Denver will prove to be too much tonight. Hopefully I am wrong.
Here is Iggy's new letter to Philly on his website, posted today I believe:
Classy move? Or empty gesture?Philly—
I would like to take the time to thank you and all your devoted sports fans for the passion, loyalty and spirit that you gave to me during my eight seasons with the Philadelphia 76ers.
Thanks as well to the 76ers organization, who gave me the opportunity to fulfill my lifelong dream of playing in the NBA and provided me with a great front office of dedicated people to work with. I would also like to thank all the coaches, trainers and teammates that I was blessed to compete along side and build lasting relationships with here.
Tonight I begin a new chapter in my career but I will always share my accomplishments with the city and the organization and I thank you both for all that you have done for me.
Sincerely,
Andre Iguodala
Never seen a player wait til the day he returns to play against the city to post the letter. The classy guys usually posted a letter in the paper, not on their own website. My thoughts: he heard about the tribute and felt like a heel.

Empty gesture.

I actually want to say classy move, but since this comes AFTER his previous comments, its pretty meaningless and seems a bit forced.
He put this on his website... As if anyone actually goes to his website....
He should have put this in the daily news or inquirer, and what he said was pretty standard, no personal touch whatsoever, he prob didnt even write it.
