2013 Draft Discussion

The problem with our TEs and WRs isn't a problem with the players, it's a scheming problem. That's why we don't see them getting big numbers. Our offense isn't built for that in the first place. We aren't going to get huge results from them like NE or other teams. At least not yet.

Thats fine but we still need a true #1 WR even if we want to play the way we have been all of the SB winners have had game changers except for the Baltimore Ravens.

Sid Rice is a legit #1 when he's healthy.

I say WR there seems to be a lot of value there.

I really don't know the TE class this season but it doesn't seem like TE are really that valued high in the draft more late first or taken in the 2nd round.

I like Zach Miller (for president! ). But if we get another good TE in addition. The 2 TE set with Beast Mode?? The 2 TE set that PC always wanted. Wow, play action, run.. run, play action. So much easier for Russell Wilson.

Ill take your word for it i really i haven't been paying to much attention to the TE position outside of ASJ i do agree that we need to upgrade it but i don't know if we do that in the 1st round.

Zach Miller needs some help we are getting nothing from Evans.

Rice is far and away better then Bowe. Not sure where this rumor Bowe is a legit #1 came from but you watch enough of him and you sure hell don't believe the rumor.

I dont carr for Bowe. In reference to above post, I don't see any team dangling a #1 WR for a QB

I agree i have seen Bowe drop some catch able passes and not want to make a catch knowing he is going to get blasted plus i don't really see the break away speed.

Rice is willing to make those catches but it kind of worries me when we have him run a slant or a screen and he just gets blasted with his injury history but at least he is willing.

What do you think of Ertz from Stanford? He may not be a game changing TE but he is a complete TE who can block and has soft hands.

He might be to much like Miller.

TE or WR doesn't matter to me just get somebody to go with Rice otherwise teams will just double up Rice and not worry about anybody else.

To bad ASJ can't coming out i bet he would be the first TE taken he is average at blocking but is a lot like Finley where he causes match up problems in the passing game.

John Clayton said Flynn was probably worth a 6th round pick this week due to his contract.

When has this been happening? Tate has been an animal. I think if the Seahawks threw the ball 40+ times a game like some teams Tate and Rice would be on Pro Bow watch lists. Both have 6 TD's.
