With all that being said I don't see Pete getting a WR though until maybe the 2nd or 3rd round.
I agree and we should be able to find a good enough WR in the 2nd or 3rd. The position is deep this year, same with quality RB's

Id like to see us address wr in free agency with Greg jennings and resign dt Jason Jones. I'd go best player available through the whole draft.

Sorry to burst your bubble but it appears as if Greg Jennings is headed to the Dolphins

There are already plenty of reasons to link the Miami Dolphins with pending free-agent receiver Greg Jennings of the Green Bay Packers this offseason.

Jennings once played under Miami rookie head coach Joe Philbin and knows the West Coast offense well. Miami also has plenty of cap room and will be looking for a No. 1 receiver.

However, a family member of Jennings provided further evidence last weekend that Miami could be on the receiver’s radar. Jennings’ sister, Valyencia, reportedly went off on her Twitter account (which is now deleted) a few days ago during Green Bay’s loss to the Minnesota Vikings. The USA Today captured all the tweets.

“Who can make a play @GregJennings can. He’s the best freakin [sic] receiver these clowns got,” Valyencia Jennings tweeted out of frustration. “Now take your talents to south beach and get paid.”

    Ouch! But there is more.

“@GregJennings ball out so you can leave this team,” Valyencia Jennings tweeted of the Packers. “They will miss u when your [sic] gone. It’s all good bye Packers. Cheap team, can’t afford him.”

Although Greg Jennings can’t and won’t say anything about the Dolphins while he is still under contract, you have to think Miami has come up at some point with the Jennings family. Valyencia didn’t just bring up the Dolphins Sunday out of thin air over every other team. Greg Jennings and his family have to be aware of what the Dolphins need, his connection with Philbin and the money Miami is willing to spend. It would make sense for Jennings and the Dolphins to be near the top of each other's offseason wish list.

In fact, Miami could have its choice of top receivers in free agency. In addition to Jennings, receivers Mike Wallace and Dwayne Bowe also are pending free agents and make sense for the Dolphins for different reasons. But Jennings would have the shortest learning curve and fits right into the Dolphins offense.

Pass give me Mike Wallace before Greg Jennings i am not to fond of the small receivers who are getting into there 30's once they lose speed there not as effective i would rather have a tall WR especially on the outside.

It will probably be addressed with a early pick 2nd or 3rd RD don't see us giving another big contract to WR since we are already paying Rice but if we can get Wallace i would love that.

If the Seahawks make some noise this yr in the playoffs, you can bank on some WR wanting to take less money to come play here. The opportunities are just too good right now.

    Rice-Bowe-Tate-Baldwin-Butler-Bates would be solid.

Bowe is a bum. Do some research and all you see is that he doesn't take care of his body and he can't catch the ball.

I agree Boozer. My WR target would be Denarius Moore (OAK). Reggie McKenzie made it known right before Christmas that the WRs in OAK (Heyward-Bey, Ford and Moore) could be available for draft picks.

Great speed and hands and he'll have another year on his relatively cheap contract (only 24 y/o). I think a 4th rd pick would do the job. Thoughts?

Any of the Raiders WR's would warrant at least a 4th round pick because there's no real QB in Oakland. They literally have a need at every position starting with QB. I really like Denarius Moore a lot he's just approaching his prime and I just think he needs a change of scenery to really shine

I don't think receiver is as big of a need as I used to. Our receiving corps has been above average as a unit in my opinion. No we don't have a true number one, but very few teams do. I think it is not wise to invest money into a receiver when you are going to have your young defensive stars contracts come up in the next few years. Save the money and draft a receiver. Receivers I really like are Quinton Patton and Steadman Bailey(if he come out).

Ask anyone... I have been lobbying for Quinton Patton for months. He his creeping up boards and I think he's going in the 2nd. I am doing a mock for us right now and he's my 2nd rd pick. IMO, he probably won't be there though

I love the Seahawks top 3 at WR, but they severely need that 4th guy. The guy who can back up Sid Rice and Golden Tate on the outside. Probably with a little size just for the sake of variation. Basically a more reliable Braylon Edwards.
