I've liked ET at the point for stretches this season, but I get the feeling it won't go that well for a whole game (if Jrue doesn't play against Indy). Hopefully he steps it up. George Hill could be in for a fun night on the offensive end, though.

Official 2012-13 Trade / Roster Discussion Thread Pt 1.

ET usually defends guys like hill pretty well.

Its the bigger athletes he has trouble with.

If nick young or jrich are guarding him.... Thats another story.

    Yes, I agree.

He should be able to defend hill and score on him. Hill is shooting 39% from the field and 31% from 3. should be a good match-up for Turner.

Traded one to the Heat as part of the Moultrie move. Then traded the other to the Nets for cash.

Kind of a weird question, but when someone trades a pick for cash, who gets the cash? Lol owner or the team?

    My guess is the cap.
Pay attention. You might learn something.

Apparently there is a thread in the main forum that involves us trading for a center and possibly trading bynum. I didn't look in it because I'm on my phone and my battery is almost dead.

^ It has another GM saying he could see us trading bynum because we are panicking but I didnt see anywhere of our FO saying we would.

what do u guys think of this?

    http://espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=d2udvfr

    sixers get:
    stephen jackson (expiring)
    dejuan blair (expiring)
    (1st rd pick/kawhi leonard?)

    spurs get:
    j-rich
    hawes
(maybe dorell wright if we can get leonard?)

i dont see any reason why the spurs dont jump at this.... and it gives the sixers 24mil in cap space next summer.... dwight howard and a smallforward to be named later in free agency.

Why would the Spurs do this? They love Kawhi. It's questionable if they even upgrade. All they do is just add much worse contracts.

Well u obviously missed that kahwi was in parenthases and was more of a hopeful maybe than anything else.

Jrich and hawes and both having better seasons than jackson and blair. The spurs also dont worry about the cap rather than maximizing the last 3 or so years that they can keep this thing going. Hawes gives them a good compliment to duncan off the bench..... I honeslty think this makes them a lot better, us worse but allows us cap flexibility..... Makes us smaller as well with blair.... Only thing i like about this for the sixers in the short term is jackson allows tuner to play the 2.

just to have a bit of fun with the trade machine, how about this one.

amar''''e is an albatross of a contract, but if you can pull a miracle and get both him and bynum healthy and on the court, that basically turns this team inside out, and gives the sixers the two most prolific interior scorers in the eastern conference. the chance of that happening is probably under 2%, but it's not like the sixers are going much of anywhere anyway.
