Question Opening Night: Lakers vs Mavericks

Who wins? No-witzki for Dallas, and possibly no Kobe for LA.

My guess, discounting early foul trouble:

    Nash 32 minutes / Blake 10 / Duhon 6

    Kobe 32 minutes / Meeks 10 / Ebanks 6

    Metta 36 minutes / Jamison 12

    Pau 32 minutes / Hill 16

    Howard 30 minutes / Hill 10 / Sacre 8

    Bryant still out

Kobe Bryant did not practice Saturday, continuing to rest his strained right foot in hopes of playing in the season opener Tuesday against Dallas.

"Knowing Kobe, I think he'll play," Pau Gasol said. "He plays through so much."

Bryant was injured Wednesday when he tripped over Sacramento forward Thomas Robinson while cutting through the lane.

Bryant was having a solid exhibition season, averaging 20.4 points, 4.8 rebounds and 3.4 assists in only 26.8 minutes.

Hopefully the lakers come out guns blazing and make it so dominant that the mavs can't catch the Lakers in the 4th quarter.

you don't want to go 0-9.

I still remember Kobe outscoring a former mavericks team by the third quarter...
of course kobe ain't going to be full strength, so he'll probably play limited minutes.
but c'mon mike. let's get this laker train going

Time to end our 9 game losing streak. Lakers win and Kobe plays. He struggles early but gets it together in the 2nd half to blow the game open.
    Lakers Off-Season Checklist:

    [X] Trade Bynum for D12
    [X] Get a PG(Nash!)
    [X]Re-sign Hill or sign Camby
    [ ]Sign Grant Hill---NOPE
    [X]Sign Jamison
    [X]Sign a Back-up Guard(Barbosa, Mayo, Meeks, etc.)
    [X]Re-sign Devin Ebanks
    [X]Re-sign Darius Morris
