Yes. Simple answer.
I hate to admit but NO....
We made it to the World Series over teams like the Angels, Rangers, Yankees, etc...
That says something right there
I am satisfied... Quite disappointed but satisfied
I can't believe we got swept by the Giants.... Seriously the Giants
No offense but imo we should have beaten them
we beat ourselves
Unreal that we got swept by the Giants

Yes. Grated, the Tigers had a nice playoff run, but there were big expectations to begin with. I was thrilled to be in the World Series, but to get swept was just embarrassing. That team just looked happy to be there. If the hought the good fight and lost in 6 or 7, I probably would have been content.
No! Not a failure at all. We made the world series! How many other teams did that. Our coaching was an epic failure! Please GOD let Leyland and Lamont retire!
The only negatives I saw this year were:
1. Our closer was not good
2. Brookens was the best coach on our team
3. We had many bad streaks
4. Bosche stunk it up
5. Leyland fingers Rayburn
6. Our team just never seemed to Jell
7. When the TV crews would show the Tigers Dugout in the WS, we looked uninterested and no emotion.

Win or lose, you true Tigers fans have nothing to lower your heads over.
The Tigers, as with many other teams, played fantastic baseball this year. Obviously, only one team can capture the Championship Title. However, that does not cast a shadow over the many teams and players, whom played their hearts out.
Perhaps, it's easily stated, as this old timer celebrates the Giants' victory . . . But I have always supported my team through 4+ decades of ups and downs. The shared good memories alone are worth the roll coaster rides of emotion and disappointment.
I trust you folks enjoyed a fantastic 2012 season and continue to support your Tigers.
I am disppointed in the way we went out. I am disappointed in the fact that the Tigers seemed to coast the first half of the season as if the division was theirs.
I am proud of the fact that they got it done down the stretch and made it to the series.
Overall, I won't say failure, but the way the played in the series was laughable and embarrassing.
The Tigers went into this season thought by many as world series favourites to get swept in 4 games is awful, I would perhaps change if the Tigers went to 6 or 7
I'm not dissapointed at all, I thought we would win the division without issues, that didn't happen, but to make it to the World Series with a bunch of guys that looked so terrible out there for most of the year, obviously Leyland is doing something right.
Yes, why would anyone be satisfied is beyond me lol. You only get so many chances to win a Championship, and the Tigers have been crap the last 2 times.
Yes. World Series aspirations ended in an utter failure.
Screw Jeff Blashill.
Screw Ken Holland.
How can anyone say no? Anything but a World Title is a failure. ALCS and division titles mean NOTHING.
