Only 3 posts, and 1 of them by a Laker fans?
Where are you Rockets fans? You should be stoked about this! Wake up!![]()
Calm down. It just happened and it's a Saturday night.
Martin was going somewhere and I hate seeing Lamb go, but I think we can all agree Harden is better for this team going forward than anyone on the current roster. Great move, Morey; you finally did something with all these acquisitions.
on twitter, I'm stoked! Lamb has a lot of upside and K-Mart is only 29 plus 2 first rounders this season but Harden is a monster, Lin, Harden (all-star), Parsons (possible all-star), Terrance Jones (monster, high upside, possible all-star), Asik (defensive MONSTER)
Lin
Harden
Parsons
Jones
Asik
I actually like the lineup

T.Jones will be a solid player they have a good young core if Harden is re-signed.
Gotta be excited right now. Lin and Harden are 24 and 23 respectively and thats gonna be a good backcourt for a long time. Nobody will be upset about losing Lee but I wish we coulda found a way to give up Jones or another pick instead of Lamb. I think how you evaluate this trade comes down to how you view that Toronto pick. I hated the idea of a reverse protected pick and the parameters that were around it so OKC can have the 13th and 20th picks this year. Sign Harden to a max deal and lets be .500 again this year with some actual potential for once.
you guys are lucky. sucks i'm so jealous![]()
Does anyone think we will keep harden in his 6th man role after he gets used to the offense? Maybe let Delfino be our Sefolosha?
good trade for the rockets no question. even if harden doesnt resign rockets get rid of a bad contract
Martin's contract was expiring, so I'd disagree with the term "bad contract".
And as for the picks people are talking about, I think the Mavericks pick next year is top 20 protected or close to it and the Raptors pick is protected to be from 3-14. I'm sure bosstone knows whenever the heck he gets in here.
ETA: According to Woj, it seems the Rockets can offer a five year max contract while the Thunder only could have offered a four year max since they already gave their five year max to Westbrook.

I think the Rockets still have assets to add another piece if they wish.
Harden is a very good pick-up. Let's see if how he does being the first option (assuming). Rockets may sneak into the playoffs now.
