Definitely like Hunter in an Andruw Jones type role.

    Gardner, Granderson, Ichiro, Hunter

Sign me the hell up for that. Hunter would definitely get his playing time with us.

Also, Hunter is a complete tool. Remember what he said about Yankee fans, pass.

    Or......OR!!!!!

We can trade A-Rod for Giancarlo Stanton, then trade Cano for the entire Rays pitching staff. Then after that, we can trade Grandy to the Dodgers for Matt Kemp and Kershaw.

ommm, no. Try A-Rod invokes his 10-5 rights and vetos the trade (which he has said he would do), the the TB & LA front offices are not that dumb. The only way this happens is in a video game.

You might want to come back to the real world.

I guess you didn't sense his sarcasm?

He's poking at other posters who are making insane trade ideas.

I vote with Leo that we bring back Ichiro. I think we're in the minority though.
No to Hunter. Yes to keeping Dickerson on the team. Yes to Ibanez.

Ichiro for sure. Swisher, no way.

If we're in the minority then people aren't watching the same two players. Either that or the craptacular saber stats are destroying people's eyesight so they can't actually see the game.

Hunter had a pretty productive year and won't be signed for a Jones/Ibanez contract or role. He will probably get a 3 year deal and we will, again be stuck with an aging, breaking-down OF.

I feel the same way about Michael Bourn. I think that speed guys after 30 are very risky. He will be looking for a 3-5 year deal and when his legs begin to slow down he will be a below average player.

I would rather kick the tires on Grady Sizemore, Cody Ross and look to sign Napoli over Martin.

how old is gardner?.. is anybody else concerned he seems to be injury prone?.. can't hit for average?.. it seems to me hitting in the post season has been the issue for a while, even the '09 post season when arod actually showed up... be gentle first post...

Sarcasm does not work well in the printed word.

On the other hand, all I sensed was another person who lives the game in their Playstation 3 having the Yankees build a team for the ages and since they do it there, they know how to do it here.

Oh well, I guess very few have any clue what reality is..At least I can count the total number on this forum on one hand...
