Pretty much a sure sign, Ras-I will be a HOF player.

6/27/09: “We expect [Rondo] to play by the rules and be a leader as a point guard. We need him to be more of a leader,” Ainge said. “There were just a couple situations where he was late this year, I don’t know if he was sitting in his car, but showed up late and the rest of the team was there. We have team rules and you have to be on time. He was fined for being late, he said he was stuck in traffic, and it’s just unacceptable.”

    Dammit.

Even if he can't play another down, 2 years ago it still was not a bad pick because all the potential was there.

We took Dowling and I thought for sure we were taking Brooks Reed.

Dowling has shown far more than Crable and Wheatley combined.

Not saying Dowling wont pan out, but BB seems to be much better at drafting Front seven Defensive players, and Offensive lineman, compared to WRs and DBs. He is better evaluator of the "big" guys.

I was pushing for the Reed pick too but knew it wouldn't happen.

He does alright on the Texans but fits their scheme a lot better. In short, he is no Chandler Jones.

Dowling's potential was way higher than Reed's during the draft.

I liked the Dowling pick at the time and still think he can be a player, but he just needs to stay healthy. Can't perform if you can't play. That might end up doing him in. Damn shame, because I think he has upside at a position of great need,

Dowling is in jeopardy of being released next offseason.

In the past, Belichick hasn't put up with players who are constantly injured and he's cut them.

Such as Brace, and soon Chung and Vollmer?

I think Chung should be released, and Brace isn't anything special, he barely plays.

    Vollmer you got me on.

Chung's contract is up at the end of the season, BB will make a small offer and if he doesn't accept he's going to let him go. Vollmer will probably get franchised and Brace has been solid. It doesn't help that he plays with a top 3 NT in the league.
