This means we can only lose 1-2 more games this season; with the Packers twice, Texans, Bears & Falcons all on the schedule.
How do you figure we are making the playoffs? If you think a 9 win season will get us in, you are just kidding yourself.
Lets not anoint broyals as the savior of our offense. I was not for the pick, I wanted DB or OL help/depth. BUT above all in mayhew I trust (still). There's no crystal ball, there's no way anyone knew Nate would break his leg. I still think broyals could have been had in the 3rd rd. IMO

I believe we will be in the playoff race at the end of the season. It depends if we our offense wakes up tomorrow.
The bears and falcons are not scary to me. Both legitimate teams, but have weaknesses. The packers are human again and god for bid we get a win at home on Thanksgiving.
I feel confident we will win Sunday and be 4-4 after we play the jags, knock on wood. If so, guess what? We are right back in the race.
No one is declaring broyles our savior. But he has a big opportunity to help right the ship.
Still think they should have taken Jenkins. Take a look at his stats this year compaired to our CBs. Also have not heard of any off the field issues. OUR DBs are a mashed together group of guys nobody wanted. They are playing decent now but the bottom will fall out.
I'm a huge fan of the Broyles pick. I think we will finally be able to see what he can do now that Burleson is done for the season. If he does live up to his hype the lions will be deadly. Although i agree that Titus has become a bust already. He is not breaking out like we thought he would and he looks lost. I'd like to see him traded for the possibility of us moving up in the second to grab the Wilson guy from Washington State in the draft. He is a tall receiver who make great catches. He is not a game breaker down field but he catches the ball. He would be a great compliment to Megatron. The receiving core of CJ, Wilson, Broyles would be deadly as long as Stafford can improve on what hes doing now.
I like it, also i think he should have been playing more and returning kicks. He should have been the starting kick returning since week 1, stephan logans sucks, i dont think he has returned a kick in like 2 and a half season.
Ryan Broyles: 2TDs
Calvin Johnson: 1TD
AAL: Matthew Stafford
If Broyles is the route runner he is said to be, and the hard worker, then this offense could start to click more with him healthy and in the game. It could open up other guys as we saw today and eventually take the pressure off CJ and allow him to make more plays early on.
I love what I've seen so far... Dude reminds me of a suction cup with that ball. Just scoops right in.
Fun thread to look back on.
RB is going to be a stud for years. Knows how to read coverages/runs perfect routes and catches almost everything. Gonna be fun watching CJ-RB-TY for years.
