Few players questionable making the roster, recievers Bobby Engram and Syndric Steptoe. Tight End Robert Royal, Defensive Tackle Kwaku Danso also another name to watch this pre season. We have a ton of linebackers that could end up making this team. Marcus Bernard, Eric Barton, David Veikune could fight for the last LB spot. Corners DeAngelo Smith and Gerald Lawson are on the outside looking in, but expect one of them to make the team beind Coye Francies and Brandon McDonald.

Strengths:
Our potential depth at Running Back this year with the addition of Hardesty, the upcoming Harrison, healthy James Davis, goaline back in Jennings throw Cribbs and Seneca Wallace in the mix, our run game could be very lethal. We're very versitle especially in shot gun formations with Harrison and a finese fullback in Peyton Hillis.

The left side of our offensive line is another strong point heading into the season. Joe Thomas IS the best left tackle in the league. Seinbach is a top 5 guard, and Mack is already a top 10 center.

Defensivley our obvious strength for us is at the Corners. Eric Wright a top 10 corner yet? I believe so. Sheldon Brown, one of the most durable dependable number two corners in the league is by far our best off season addition. And then we add the best Corner in the draft Joe Haden, not to mention Coye Francies still sits on a ton of potential. Brandon McDonald moves from a starting number two corner to our dime and some nickel packages. Very deep at corner this year.

Another strength for us defensivley could be our versitility at linebacker. We have many linebackers who can move in and outside. More so Gocong, Fujita, and Maiava who will all see significant playing time this season. All three guys can play the Mike or Will in our defensive, and so far its given Ryan and Mangini a tuff time figuring out what set of linebackers will make the best starting group to put out there game one.

Weaknesses
QB, WR, Right side of the line...Can Jake Delhomme have a decent comeback year for us? Can Brian Robiskie see the field a hell of alot more than last year and produce for us on that note? Can Floyd Womack, and Tony Pashos hold up on the right side of line enough allowing us to run the ball effectivley on both sides of the field, and keep Delhomme off his backside more importantly.

Defense Weakness...PASS RUSH!!!

Ive given my grades for each position. What do you guys think. Remember, its not just just the starter who deterimines the grade. Its the depth, and security at the position.

QBs- D+.... How do you get off saying Delhomme (lead NFL in picks) and a rookie who had never played before is even average? I'd say the browns probably belong in the top 5 worst QBs in the league. Try to think of 5 teams who have worse options AT THIS POINT?

FBs - A - ....Great blocking backs no doubt. Top 5 in the league with FBS no doubt

RBs- B .... Solid B as you have alot of POTENTIAL and youth at the position. We'll see what it translats to on the field

WR - D ..... You dont have a number one period. Cribbs on any other team would not even start. He is a glorified wildcat specialist/returner. he ISN'T a true reciever. he averages like 300 yds a season and plays every down. OUCH! GREAT GREAT player tho just not WR. Massoqui(Sp) has potential and brings u up from an F to a D. Robiske is like a ghost. Stuckey is lame. Again top 5 worst core in the league

TE- C+ .....Watson is solid but up there in age. Check the AFC West they have some INSANE tight ends. you guys are average

OL - A - ... I must admit i'm VERY jealous of your YOUNG, STRONG, GREAT O LINE. Easily a top 10 BEST in the league. GREAT LINE

DL - B ..... Rogers is a FORCE. You guys dont have much depth tho besides him. I mean EVERYONE has a bunch of players on their teams taht could b something but nothing concrete here.

LBS - B-... Soliid here too, You will miss the pass rush of Wimbley. but barton and dqwell and pretty good. You guys got fujita too right? solid

CBs - C ... i'll probably get chewed out for this but i dont think they are much better than average. Haden is a ROOKIE and slow, maybe he will amount to somethin so i'm not judging him yet. Eric Wright a top ten CB? WOW lemme have what ur smoking. He is a solid 2nd CB in this league AT BEST. He's played number one the lst two yrs and gets eaten alive ALOT. Sheldon brown is old and is a solid number 2 also in this league. Honestly he is decent. B mcdonald had a HORRIBLE season last year. Francis is a dime man at best.

Safety - D+... in comparison to the league your just not good here. not at all. Ward ur rookie is a hrd hitter with very low coverage skills according to reports.

right well gocong and fujita are both guys who can move inside or out. Roth or Bowens in my mind will compete for the last starting spot. if Roth then gocong probably moves inside, if Bowens then Gocong will move outside. And yes Evan Moore is perhaps the most underated not on the radar tight end. Then we either one we keep Alex Smith, or Robert Royal...more preferably Alex Smith, we have ourselves a solid number three tight end. Our goaline set looks pretty promising with the three tight ends in the game, vickers then either Hardesty or Jennings in the backfield

and who are you as an oakland raider fan to give our corner grade a C? Eric Wright WILL be a top ten corner in the league this year. Mark my words. He is a true shut down corner, and dont worry he'll get his shot this year against some of the best recievers in the game. Especially in our division with ochocinco, boldin, ward, hell T.O. alot of people thought he was one of the top corners in the game last year, and the only thing that would make him better was a solid number 2 corner opposite him. Hmmm I think we have a great number two now in Sheldon Brown. Then we add Haden, the best corner in the draft, idc what people say about Kyle Wilson, and you say he's slow on one timed 40. You forgot to mention the 40 he ran on his Florida pro day. Might want to look that one up. And you want to give us a grade on Brandon McDonald. Bottom line McDonald wont see the field that much this year, thats how deep we've gotten at the position. Move from a starter to the number 4 option at corner. Francies yeah he's up in the air. Kid could either shoot the roof because thats what his potential is, or he can be just a average back up in the league. 6'2 200 lbs is awesome size for a corner. I hope he can see the field this year a little to see where he's at

I doubt Chris Jennings makes the team, we have too many nice young RBs, you have to cut somewhere. I'd give James Davis a roster spot instead of him ANY day.

This roster is the best roster top to bottom that the Browns have had since they came back. I for one am prob the most exited Ive been fro Browns football since the returned in 1999!!!

Delhomme has 18 picks, did not lead NFL.

Our team is alot better then anyone really thinks. The reciever core looks weak because they are young. But Haggerty and Mitchell are gonna be our number 2 and 4 in a couple years. These guys are both huge steals. I dont know if we will work them in there like we should but if they get playing time, I dont see how Delhomme has a bad couple seasons ahead of him.

Depends how much time he gets, We have 3 solid RB's. 4 if you count Hillis.

If healthy I could see over 1000yds.

I can see him rushing over 1,000 yards as well. And possibly 350+ receiving yards.
