At least he's good on defense. I'd rather have this guy than Nickeas even though that isn't saying much.

He is just another guy that catches, the Mets really have nothing in the upper minors that can be counted on to give them anything in the majors. The Rob Johnson's and Mike Nickeas of the worlds are are horrible even for back up standards. Thole and Shoppach are back ups at best themselves.
Well folks here's another AAAA player.
Overwhelming signing, especially from the deep farm system of the Cubbies......![]()

2013 Spring Training, wouldn't surprise me to see SA and Co. have a cast of 100's of invitee potential catchers.
Probable be a listing on Craig's List too.
With our catching seriously weak in talent as it is, I expect more of the same next year.

Yawn.

Everyone, say it along with me. He's another
Affordable Space Holder. Just another pain in our collect ASH.
Now the Zen master says, "We'll see."
As of now, Mike Nickeas is a better catcher.
The Mets have 2 catchers worse than Nickeas, how is that possible?
I guess you can never have enough weak hitting catchers.
