Hitting that jumpshot consistently is a huge asset to our floor spacing though, especially when Rose returns.

    2010: 31.4% from 3'-9' on 1.3 attempts, 40.0% from 10'-15' on 0.4 attempts, 43.0% from 16'-23' on 1.0 attempts
    2011: 38.5% from 3'-9' on 1.6 attempts, 44.4% from 10'-15' on 0.2 attempts, 33.0% from 16'-23' on 1.2 attempts
    2012: 34.6% from 3'-9' on 1.2 attempts, 21.7% from 10'-15' on 0.4 attempts, 43.0% from 16'-23' on 1.1 attempts

Last year he was awful from 10'-15', but better from 16'-23'... then vice versa the year before. I don't think his consistency has been nearly good enough for him to be able to build up the confidence for more attempts.

Adding some post abilities would be wonderful too, but I'm not expecting sudden drastic improvements in that department from him at nearly 28 years old. The jumpshot seems to be something he has a decent grasp of at this point already though, so honing that skill would give us a nice boost and really open up his driving ability.

He needs that shot, we don't need him to post that's the reason why we signed Boozer although we don't use him there.

So we don't need him in the post because we have boozer, even though we don't use boozer there because he is ineffective? not following that logic
