Brent Lillibridge is supposedly signed to a minor league deal, as is Darnell McDonald, who also received a non-roster invitation to camp.

Forgot to include the signing of RHP Dayan Diaz. Minor league contract.

I had some kickass Cubs highlight videos on youtube and they took them down. Why do they let these people get away with it? Not complaining because I love this Starlin vid.

The Mike Fontenot Tribute I had was ****ing gold

Iunno but I'm happy that some highlights are on YouTube now. Pretty stupid of MLB to not allow it for so long.

Speaking of YouTube highlights...Bryce Harper is a FA in 2019. Start saving now Ricketts!

Harper is unbelievable. I would scorch the corn fields of Nebraska and all who inhabit them for Harper to be a Cub.

    Build a bullpen

I have been trying to wrap my head around the bullpen.

I mean i think the Starters are pretty set as of now but Villanueva hasn't been officially announced. But i still list him

    Edwin Jackson
    Matt Garza
    Jeff Samardzija
    Scott Baker
    Carlos Villanueva

If thats the Starting 5 we currently have on or 40 man and NRI list, some a clear to the minors (Diaz, Raley, McNutt, etc.). So no trades, no more Free agents. pick your bullpen.

    Jaye Chapman
    Jensen Lewis
    Zach Putnam
    Blake Parker
    Hisanori Takahashi
    Cory Wade
    Michael Bowden
    Alberto Cabrera
    Shawn Camp
    Lendy Castillo
    Rafael Dolis
    Kyuji Fujikawa
    Carlos Marmol
    Trey McNutt
    Brooks Raley
    Hector Rondon
    Chris Rusin
    James Russell
    Arodys Vizcaino
    Robert Whitenack
    Andrew Carpenter
    Arodys Vizcaino
    Scott Feldman
    Travis Wood
    Dayan Diaz

Feldman goes in the rotation, I think. Didn't we promise him that?

Marmol/Fujikawa/Russell/Camp/Wood/Villanueva/Wade, with Takahashi next in line if one of the starters moves back to the pen.

I don't think we can keep Rondon unless he legitimately pitches himself onto the team.

I'm with all your picks except I would put Bowden over Wade

I'm legitimately surprised that we're 1/3rd of the way through January and the impasse on the remaining MLB talent out there remains pretty much intact.

Closers are absolutely screwed if they're given a qualifying offer. There has to be some way to fix that.

I would take Wade over Bowden. Better competition, less walks, more K's.
