I got you. You completely understand that moving to Brooklyn is nothing but beneficial to this team, and that staying at the Coliseum would be detrimental. Yet, you want the team to stay in the Coliseum anyway. Gotcha.

If you guys saw the press conference they talked about how its the Islanders job now to draw the fans of a diverse place like Brooklyn to hockey. Maybe im racist but i took that as needing to draw black people to hockey. What better way to do that than to go get P.K Subban. He would be great for this team

PK Suban is not going to draw a majority of Black folks to Barclays, if they want to draw not just Black folks all of the creeds in Brooklyn, than they should get Jay-Z to wear NY Islander gear and hype up the Islanders. Jay-Z has mass appeal, and we've seen what he did for the Nets.

Well lets be really here, Okposo is just half black and honestly just looking at him my first reaction wouldnt be to guess he was african american, and since he's not a very recognizable player yet, at least compared to Subban who has more name value and more clearly african american, I understand his point

With thatk, I dont think Subban would do much for getting a more diverse fanbase. We just need lots of well timed, well placed, efficient marketing.

Subban is a beast and if I was Garth I'd go after him, him and JT have good chemistry and thats what this team needs.
