"I used to want to be pro-life but then I realized I didn't like guns, torture and war enough." - @LOLGOP
I'm sick of Rousey. The UFC is doing this all wrong. Hendo should be the main event regardless.
Rousey opens as 15-to-1 favorite....
Not surprising, eventually the smart MMA fans will figure out that she's not that good and that women's MMA is a joke. She's just beating up and 'manhandling' way smaller women. There's no talent that she posses that someone can look at and say that she is legit. She has no stand up, but because of her size, athletic ability and Judo, she can move forward grab onto someone throw them and then arm bar them.
I mean it's entertaining to see these types of quick finishes, but when no other skill is being displayed you have to question the legitimacy of a division, where the champion is winning all her fights by first round arm bars and nothing else.
Her management is being very clever with how they are trying to protect her. Once she faces someone her own size, who has striking and grappling ability she will be viciously exposed. That's why they are scared to death to move up to 145, they want Cyborg to be weight drained at 135 to take her out. I love the fact that Tito is managing her and telling Cyborg to not move down to 135, very smart move, let Ronda move up and lets see how good she really is.
Meisha Tate on the fight. "I wanted that fight but oh well the UFC can have their little squash match and then have somebody to market."
RR revs my engine, not gonna lie, but could be because I used to date a woman trainer, so its that athletic aspect.

I just have no interest in watching women fight. I enjoy watching a few womens sports but this isnt one of them
If simply being the biggest 135er, which I'm not covinced she is, is all it takes to win, how come guys like Tibau, Lashley, or Boetsch aren't better fighters? I mean, all those dudes are big. We can complain about the skill set all we like, but I hardly ever here people complain about some of the males who cut insane amounts of weight.

I met RR at a bar she was guest bar tending at.
It's like a 9 year old boy with add, trapped in a womans body. I was completely disgusted by her. Looks like a female monkey in person, acts like one too.
Can't knock her for cutting weight though, it's a big part of the sport, and for girls it's harder than it is for guys.
anyone see this? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gf6-hZ2wIls cyborg slamming ortiz lol, thats a strong woman.
Second UFC women's fight set: Miesha Tate meets Cat Zingano at TUF 17 Finale
This came out of nowhere, I didn't think the UFC would book another WMMA fight until after the Rousey/Carmiuche fight. At long last, the UFC has booked its second women's fight.
Former Strikeforce bantamweight champion Miesha Tate (13-3 MMA, 0-0 UFC) will face Cat Zingano (7-0 MMA, 0-0 UFC) in April at the TUF 17 Finale. UFC officials on Monday announced the matchup.
The TUF 17 Finale takes place April 13 at The Joint at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas. The event is expected to have a main card on FX following prelims on FUEL TV.
Tate went 5-2 in Strikeforce and won the 135-pound title in July 2011 with a fourth-round submission of Marloes Coenen. But in her first title defense, she ran into Ronda Rousey and was submitted by a Rousey armbar in the first round. Tate, though, did last longer than any other opponent against Rousey.
She returned in August following the loss and submitted Julie Kedzie, ironically with an armbar, deep into the third round of their back-and-forth battle in San Diego. That win gave her six victories in her past seven fights, and she has nine stoppages in her 13 career wins.
Zingano has been perfect in her MMA career with six stoppages in her seven wins. In October, she submitted Raquel Pennington with a second-round rear-naked choke in her Invicta debut at Invicta FC 3. After being expected to make her Invicta debut, Zingano signed with Strikeforce this past August and was slated to face Amanda Nunes in September. But that card was canceled, and Zingano shifted back to Invicta to stay active.
Zingano, who runs a Brazilian jiu-jitsu school in Colorado, also holds notable wins over Carina Damm and Barb Honchak since turning pro in 2008.
The UFC's first women's fight takes place Feb. 23 at UFC 157 when Rousey defends her bantamweight title against Liz Carmouche. But until Monday, no other women's fights had been announced by the UFC, leading to speculation that the company was waiting to see how Rousey-Carmouche did before committing further.
But UFC President Dana White repeatedly has said the company has fights and female fighters lined up and a plan in place. Monday's Tate-Zingano announcement was the first sign of that.
Along with the welterweight final for Season 17 of "The Ultimate Fighter," the TUF 17 Finale also will feature a heavyweight bout between Travis Browne and Gabriel Gonzaga.
