Eli, Cruz and JPP are the heart of this team. Those three need to stay. It would absolutely kill me to see Cruz salsa dancing for another team.

We need to sign him. Were getting the hometown discount, no way he leaves the Giants as a Paterson native if we just make him a fair offer.

Its funny that just a few years ago we were all optimistic about Cruz's potential...dude has shattered our expectations bigtime. Sure JPP, is our future but what we witnessed Sunday is how we will win games ....Eli needs guys he can finish his career with...cant keep changing receivers.

A fair contract will be 6 year 100 million contract.

It's either Nicks or Cruz. U can't have both

Cruz doesn't want the media to start talking about this but unfortunately it's been on espn everyday this week. I really hope this doesn't get crazy.

Man, If we're having this problem of choosing either Nicks or Cruz, I wonder how Atlanta will manage to keep both Jones and White, what the media call the "Best WR Tandem" but really, what's the chance that we keep both of them AND JPP?

Not very high. We invest in all around players, not have overloaded positions in places where Eli can make do with average players that he can groom into being something great.

The Randle pick was a protection against Cruz/Nicks leaving (1 of them).

I think we sign Cruz JPP AND Nicks.

Why? Well because I don't think Nicks will demand a ton of money on the FA market due to his injury history.

I honestly don't see Reese letting any of that core of Cruz, JPP, and Nicks leave..

No reason to. Keep them together, and the team keeps winning. By the time JPP is up for a deal, Osi is gone, and Tuck might be as well, especially if he continues to not produce, so there's JPP's money, and then some. Cruz and Nicks make it easy for Reese to continue to stock the rest of the teams needs through the draft, only using later picks to look for depth-type recievers if necessary. Even less so if Randle gets it done.

Hopefully Reese avoids some difficulty, saves a few bucks by locking them up early..

Anything can happen...I know this is a football topic but after seeing Harden get traded from OKC to the rockets, it made me remember that sports is a business. I don't think hometown discounts apply anymore

We all remember watching that now infamous Jets preseason game...how excited everyone got watching this kid play. I never thought he'd be this good.
