Felix wouldn't ever accept a trade to NY. He doesn't like NY. Why do people still insist on trading for him? When it'll never happen?

Felix is like Randy Johnson. One of those guys we will continue to wish we had until the day we actually get him.

Judging by the reaction in the thread it seems ppl thought he would be back sooner. Am I right?
Friend: I think the NBA payed off the Heat in the first yr because of the politics. They threw game four and they payed Lebron because they were angry with what he did. So he had pay one way or another.

F:There is no one in the draft coming out and trading players isn't going to happen. The Lakers are in trouble.

F: Vogel doesn't run that team. Shaw does. If he leaves they are going to suck and Vogel will get fired.

I think most people expected him back for spring training.

“We have to keep him off our radar for now,” Cashman said. “We’re talking June of next year.”

Pineda had shoulder surgery after feeling some soreness at the end of spring training. The history of pitchers coming back from such a surgery is spotty at best, and obviously the Yankees were expecting big things when they agreed to trade Jesus Montero for Pineda.

The first mistake was trading for Pineda. The second mistake was having any expectations for him.

You can't expect someone back when they're dead. RIP Michael Pineda.

I always thought that was wishful thinking. Even if he was ready by then I assumed they would take it easy

    Lol at the second mistake

All joking aside though it was a risk trading for him. If it was a Verlander or Lee then the outrage over trading him wouldn't have been that big. Hopefully the kid can rebound in the next 2 yrs. He has a lot to live up too.

I knew we wouldn't see Pineda in 2013. I remember arguing about this with another poster. He said we should trade Hughes, cause we can slide Phelps in the rotation, and Pineda would fill the void left by either Pettitte or Kuroda.

I said we should keep Phil, and resign Andy and Hideki to 1 year deals cause we may never see Pineda again. And I don't feel Phelps is rotation worthy.

But seriously now, if we do trade Hughes like some people want..what the hell is their rotation gonna look like next year?? Say Andy doesn't come back as well..

Nova should pitch every game. We go 140-22.

But our average score is 10-8.

The Nova that ended the season would go 10-152.

Yep. Blame the front office. If we pitched nova, we would have scored runs.

10-152 is better than the 0-4 we just saw.

Nova is the greatest ever. Oh.
