Losing my best friend is really taking a toll on me right about now..

over the last 2 years, I've lost 3 girls who i thought were amongst my best friends. 2 of them were like sisters for me.

it sucks but what can you do. it's an unfortunate part of life that everyone at some point has to go through.

Yeah, losing touch fast. Looks like he's coming around. How many knew the kid was getting shot when asked, " how do you say your name again, again..."

Agreed, I just lost a close friend 38y father to 8y son. He told no one his cancer had returned. I saw him on a Monday, looked a little sick.

I said, " Tim you ok man, you don't look well. " I called Tim next day(Tuesday), " I was thinking of bringing kids by to see you and Shane/ Son. You feeling any better, you need anything. " He said no man, ill be fine. "
I stated, " Well call me brother for anything. "

Tim went into coma on Tuesday Night died Weds Morning.

The reason I share this I hope it helps what he said to me on the beach the weekend before as we watch our children fish together, " Love them everyday, it's never to much, hold them, hug them, its never to much, you never know when you won't. "

He was telling me something and I was listening.

My old friends didn't die though. they just managed to make it clear they didn't want me in their lives anymore... and 2 of them did it in a pretty harsh way.

damn... I used to know a guy who could bench 315, 20 times when he was younger. he's only in his early 30's but years of steroids and heavy lifting, he can't do it anymore.
