Well here is a good thing to hear from the Seahawks.

http://www.heraldnet.com/article/201...OG06/121019996There was good news on cornerback Walter Thurmond, who is coming back from the broken leg that ended his 2011 season and is currently on the physically unable to perform list. Players on the PUP list are eligible to return to the roster after Week six, and it sounds like Thurmond will be back pretty soon after that deadline.
"He's ready to go when the PUP status is lifted," Carroll said, though he did note that was how Thurmond felt and not necessarily a final medical diagnosis. Carroll did point out that Thurmond has been doing a lot of hard work on the side (players on the PUP list can't practice with the team) so he should be in good condition when he does return to practice.
This could be great news if he has not lost a step from all of his injuries. I love Trufant but he has lost a step and this should be his last season.
I love Walter Thurmond III

Is he a viable slot guy, or does he need to be replaced next year?
Would be very good in the the nickel if his leg has healed properly
I GOT THIS!!!"THE SEPARATION IS IN THE PREPARATION"
Nobody knows how good he can be he has been injured a lot but he was a pretty touted prospect just fell due to his injury in the draft.
It's been a while since he played for us, but he always seemed pretty impressive.
^ I don't recall him with a lot of holding/PI penalties. Regardless, he only has a season or so under his belt. He'll need a few games to get back in the flow, but I like him as our 3rd/4th corner.
Anyone think Maxwell has a future other than special teams? He is a big, athletic dude.
I say we keep Tru in the dime and have WT3 is a replacement outside the numbers guy and probably Dime duty. Tru is a better tackler which is necessary to the nickle.
