I just drafted Wilson in the 10th round in my fantasy league. People think I'm crazy. I got a couple of steals in the draft so I decided to reach for him. It is a 2 qb league with 10 teams. How did I do?
QB: Schaub
WR: Jordy Nelson
WR: Bowe
RB: Lynch
RB: Charles
TE: Grownkowski
WR/RB: Doug Martin
QB: Wilson
ST/Def: Seahawks
Bench: QB: Locker WR: Miles Austin and Malcolm Floyd RB: Shonn Greene and Mendenhall
TE: Keller
The future is present.
Glad I went with my gut and bought a Earl Thomas jersey and not the Matt Flynn one haha. Sucks for Flynn as I was hoping he would be "the guy" but I am on board the Wilson bandwagon and ready for week one! Hell yeah! My popcorn is ready. A little premature. Might be stale by week 1.
Not bad. Traditionally dont see 3 QBs taken.
Here was my team I drafted yesterday before Wilson was named the starter.
1. Calvin Johnson
2. Julio Jones
3. A.J. Green
4. Fred Jackson
5. Reggie Bush
6. Cedric Benson
7. Vernon Davis
8. David Wilson
9. Mikel Leshoure
10. Joe Flacco
11. SEAHAWKS
12. Russell Wilson
13. Brian Quick
14. Kendall Wright
15. Phil Dawson

So mad, I fell asleep and woke up right as draft was ending. Not a single player I wanted got on my team. Stupid auto pick![]()
Furmat, those wings sound soooooooooooo good. I would love to get those recipes from you and use them as my own to all my friends. LOL!!!!!
I really wanted to see Flynn as a starter and felt that there was time to develop Wilson as the future. That said, I'm on board with Wilson starting. He played well and earned it. I guess it's because there was so much hype about Flynn that I wanted to see what he could do. I also thought that in Week 2, Owens was kind of the 'make or break' for Flynn. If he caught those passes, it would have AT LEAST made PC's decision a bit harder. Maybe not.. Who knows? I fully trust all of Pete's decision, so who am I to question.![]()
https://twitter.com/SC_DougFarrar/st...22251285356544Asked Braylon Edwards if he sees similar things in 2012 Wilson to what he saw in 2009 Sanchez: "I see better things."
Sanchez is trash though, I would expect Braylon to say something like that.
Jason Collins claims he is the first openly gay NBA player despite the fact we witnessed the entire league bend the Lakers over all season.
Here you are, enjoy fellas!
Pineapple Habanero
6 habanero peppers
1/4 cup of honey
1/4 cup of brown sugar
1 cup of pineapple (fresh works best if available. The acidity makes things better)
1/3 cup of balsamic vinegar
1 purple onion
2 cloves of garlic
2 tsp of Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp of Liquid Hickory
1 tsp of roasted paprika
1 tsp ancho chili powder
1. Take your pineapple and peppers and run them through a food processor or blender (remove seeds first) Make sure you get this mixture liquefied.
2. Once you liquefied that mixture, put all of the ingredients into a pot and simmer on medium heat while stirring constantly to keep the sugars from separating.
3. Enjoy! You can always adjust this recipe for however many wings you're doing.
Spicy Garlic Buffalo
1 1/2 cups of vegetable oil
1 stick of butter
1/4 cup of honey
4 tablespoons of tomato sauce
1/2 purple onion, puree'd
1 tablespoon minced garlic
1/2 teaspoon ancho chili powder
1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons dried oregano
1/2 cup franks red hot
1. No methods here. Just put everything in a sauce pan on the stove and keep stirring over medium heat.
Spicy Apricot Honey
10 apricots, cut in half and pits removed, put through food processor
2 cups of brown sugar
6 roma tomatoes, cut in half
1/3 cup white wine
1 large purple onion, puree'd
1/3 cup minced garlic
2 cups of cider vinegar
3 teaspoons ground mustard
2 teaspoons roasted paprika
1 tablespoon of worcestershire sauce
3 tablespoons of low sodium soy sauce
2 habanero peppers, puree'd
1. Again, simple. Run all the solids through a food processor until liquefied. After that, combine everything into a large pot and bring to boil. Simmer for 45 minutes.
Kentucky Bourbon BBQ
6 serano peppers, liquefied
1/3 cup brown sugar
1 1/3 cup of ketchup
1/2 white onion, puree'd
1/3 cup minced garlic
1 cup bourbon whiskey
1 teaspoon black pepper
1/3 cider vinegar
3 tablespoons liquid hickory
1/3 cup of worchestershire sauce
2 tablespoons ground mustard
1 tablespoon roasted paprika
1 tablespoon of sea salt
1/4 cup honey
Saute over medium heat the whiskey, onion, and garlic until it almost starts to caramelize. After that, mix in everything else into a sauce pan and keep stirring, and simmer for a half hour on medium heat after bringing to a boil.
There you guys go, my best recipes!
Copied, pasted. Thanks. Which ones the best?
